Building Pot bearings
Patent No. 10-2300804
Building bearings
Technical overview
The port support is a bridge support in which a rubber pad is inserted into a circular sealed container made of steel to accommodate vertical load and rotational displacement, and an upper plate that accommodates horizontal displacement.
To accommodate horizontal displacement caused by external environment such as temperature change, displacement is accommodated through friction between the stainless steel plate attached to the bottom of the upper plate and the fluorine resin plate (PTFE) attached to the top of the piston, and the rotational behavior is controlled by the elastic deformation of the rubber material. Accept.
For construction, it is used for supporting the foundation of buildings or for connecting passages between buildings, and for supporting points of footpaths.
Technical features
Excellent stability against rotation due to the low height of the base.
The eccentricity of the load is small because the rubber pad in the container distributes the vertical load of the upper structure evenly.
As the upper vertical capacity increases, economic efficiency increases compared to other bearings, which is advantageous for steel composite bridges and long bridges.
No sagging due to incompressibility.
